I then went about recreating the partitions from the newly created "free space". I could not for the life of me figure out how to un-grey that option, so I ended up selecting all my newly created partitions, and wiping them (from within mint install wizard.) All my partitions were still there for/,swap, and/home`, but the "install now" button was greyed out. Select "something else" to manually configure my partitions (20GB for /, 8GB for swap, and 142GB for/home) 5 (where it all went wrong) After hitting "install now" I accidentally selected "back" instead of "next" on the timezone selection page. shrink C: partition allowing for 170GB of free space.I attempted to install mint cinnamon on my brand new windows machine by doing the following: I don't really even know how to find previous topics about this. I screwed something up, and I'm not sure how to fix it.
